VOX POP! (in LA)

May 3 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
$17.85
  • « The Drillmaster (in LA)
  • Potluck @ The Comedy Store (in LA) »

Three comedians. 4 man-on-the-street challenges. 1 irresistible hour of comedy.

VOX POP is a competition panel show where comedians hit the streets with outrageous challenges: beat a stranger in a freestyle rap battle, start the biggest conga line possible, get someone to write you a love poem; and have just 60 minutes to capture it all on camera.

Then we gather as an audience, watch the edited footage, and YOU vote on who did it best. The winner gets to challenge host Mark Vigeant (Dropout Presents: The Best Man Show) to complete an equally ridiculous man-on-the-street task that will open the next show (Like dress as a cat and beg strangers for a treat).

Past challenges have included casting and performing a musical theater scene with strangers, winning a feat of strength competition, and gathering a crowd of people to watch you do something you can’t do. It’s part game show, part improv experiment, part social disaster. And also sometimes very heartwarming!

Line-up/contestants TBA!

Created by Charles Day & Mark Vigeant.
