The Hottest Stand-Up Show in Town (in LA)

Alejandro Rios and Reed Rosenberg invite a revolving door of the hottest comedians they know to partake in an egregious feat of the human spirit. They’ll perform stand-up comedy based on the stories of a guest monologist, but at the same time, they’ll be eating some of the hottest wings they manage to find. Will they die? Probably not. Will they suffer? Yes.

Alejandro Rios is an LA based comedian, writer, and video editor originally from Texas. He has done shows all over Los Angeles at places like The Comedy Store, The Hollywood Improv, The Upright Citizens Brigade, The Ice House…blah blah blah the same credits that everyone has BUT what he really wants to brag about is how one time when he was a PA on a TV show, Sam Elliot clasped his hand on Alejandro’s shoulder and said “You did good work today Alejandro”. Now THATS exciting.

Since 2024 Alejandro has co-hosted “The Hottest Standup Show in Town” as well as “The Hottest Improv Show in Town” which has a residency at the famous Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles.

Reed Rosenberg is an LA based comedian and actor originally from New York. Along with “The Hottest Standup Show in Town”, he co-hosts and performs in “The Hottest Improv Show in Town” at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Reed, his co-host, and a group of improvisors perform an hour of improv while eating increasingly spicy chicken wings. It exacts a price on his body, but it’s not a price that he’s above paying.

Reed can be seen in the upcoming features “California Skate” (Henry Winkler, Bridget Moynihan, Brooke Shields, Jay Mohr) and “Shadow of the Sun” (Danny Trejo). He’s also been in a number of History Channel shows, including “The Food That Built America”, which his parents get a real kick out of.
