Buyer’s Remorse (in NYC w/Livestream)

February 21 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
$20
  • « Fourth Wall Comedy Cafe (in LA)
  • Serving Up @ The Melody Bar & Grill (in LA) »

BUYER’S REMORSE is a fast-paced improvised mock trial comedy show where NYC’s best comedians debate the internet’s worst reviews, arguing whether a negative review of a business/restaurant gets to stay online vs. get taken down. Did anyone pass the Bar Exam? No. Will the reviews actually be taken down? Probably not. Will this show reach over-the-top hilarity? Absolutely.

One comedian acts as the judge for the entire show, introducing and trying four cases for ten minutes each. Two other comedians act as the lawyer for the reviewer and the lawyer for the business for each case tried, all of which are real reviews with the business names changed. After the opening arguments and a debate, all moderated by the judge, the winning side is determined by the jury (i.e., the audience, based on applause)

Created and produced by Rachel Rose Keller (The Onion, Reductress, BoogieManja, GOLD Comedy)
