A24 is essentially a golden brand these days that carries an air of serious artistic credibility and respect with whatever they work on.

Thus, it’s pretty amazing to see them bring in a comedian for an overall deal. Of course, Ramy Youssef has garnered a ton of acclaim for both his stand-up and TV series Ramy that boldly explore what it’s like to be Muslim in American these days in a peak-TV, dramedy/enrapturing storytelling kind-of-way. 

There is a certain cinematic quality to what Ramy does and this collaboration with one of the most beloved studios of today has us excited to see what they come up with. 

FYI, Ramy’s already got two shows in the works, one of which will delve into the life of disabled people like Ramy did for Muslims.
