Morning Debriefing 10/23/11

1) Hey LA Comedy! There’s a new 2,000 sq. ft. performance space in town by Downtown on Towne Ave. That’s right Towne Hall is here and they’re looking for shows to put on comedy, variety, and more. Also, if you can swing it, they need some help donation wise to make it everything that you would a performance space to be.

2) The SLO (San Luis Obispo) Comedy Festival is in its 2nd year and taking submissions. All you need is $25 and a 5 min. clip uploaded to YouTube [via ComicBible].

3) Kyle Kinane vs. Pretentious Blogger Who Doesn’t Understand Comedy goes to Round 2. We know were biased, but Kyle won Round 1, FYI.

4) An “old school” trailer mash-up from FoD: Drive Miss Daisy

5) The 365th Day of the Comedy Bureau/Make Us Feel Better About Doing This and Not Have This Be Such a Thankless Endeavor That Will Hopefully Pay Off Very Soon is ONLY 2 DAYS AWAY.
