818 Benefit – The Brody Stevens Festival of Friendship (in LA)

The comedy community mourned the loss of Brody Stevens in 2019, and friends of Brody’s started the 818 Festival of Friendship Walk in honor of his memory. The Festival of Friendship Walk, softball game, and comedy show will directly benefit the mental health programs of Comedy Gives Back, the safety net for the comedy community.

Comedy Gives Back is the safety net for the comedy community. Being alone onstage is part of the job. Feeling alone off stage is unacceptable. Comedy Gives Back provides financial crisis relief, mental health therapy and chemical dependency treatment.

Comedy Gives Back is honored to be part of BRODYFEST 2024, the fourth annual tribute to comedian Brody Stevens, taking place August 17th and 18th in the Los Angeles area! ENJOY IT! The comedy community mourned the loss of the larger than life Brody Stevens in 2019, and friends of Brody’s started the 818 Walk in honor of his memory for his fans and friends. Four years later, the tribute is still going strong, celebrating Brody, as well as raising awareness and funding for suicide prevention and mental health services from Comedy Gives Back.
