2. In the ongoing controversy surrounding a single map (showing China’s occupancy of the South China Sea) that’s depicted in the upcoming Barbie movie from Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach, the movie will not be banned in the Philippines, but the map might be blurred (THR). Thus, Barbie joins in a very small group of films that includes The Interiew and Top Gun: Maverick that have caused geo-political disputes in Asia because of the content of the movie.

3. There is an Andy Kaufman documentary in the works, fully in cooperation with The Andy Kaufman Estate (Deadline). Clay Tweel is set to direct and we can only hope this both leads to an amazing Kaufman doc and a revitalization of the once great Andy Kaufman Award.

4. At comedy shows, are we always going to ask the audience twice if they’re having a good time even if they did, in fact, make more than enough noise?
