If you’re one of the folks that chanced seeing, Tenet, one of the only major studio releases of the year at a drive-in (or an actual theater if there was limited capacity and enough social distancing and COVID-19 cases were low enough), you might have left the theater pondering what you just saw. Of Christopher Nolan’s filmography, Tenet does leave the most to be explained (that includes Interstellar by the way). Repeat watches of the movie might be hard because of lack of access or merely because you don’t want to budget three more hours to figure out the circuitous interpretation of time travel that Nolan created exclusively for Tenet.

Even after several months of it being out there (and even now being on streaming platforms), people still find Tenet hard to follow/grasp/understand.

Thus, this explanation of how the universe of Tenet makes sense by Teresa Lee is pretty damn fun. Lee hilariously insists that its version of time travel is how she makes sense of theoretical time travel and her journey in trying to communicate that is much more straight forward than Tenet itself and, as such, much more enjoyable.

As film and TV production gets prolonged and paused and shut down, the quest for more content has led to unveiling and releasing of things that the general public would never get to see like unaired pilots, even if they were actually funny enough to warrant the public getting to see it and potentially pushing for more of it to be made.

Hampton Yount made one such pilot for SYFY called Man of Truth that put Yount position to investigate the most ridiculous conspiracy theories, but taking them as serious as any of the real ones like COINTELPRO or the Military Industrial Complex. The topic he deep dives into for the pilot if celebrity time travelers and his quest to get a hold of Matthew McConaughey is so worth a series green light by itself.

Anyone getting the feeling that any sort of announcement that is time travel themed was being held up for Back To The Future Day?

Now that Phil Lord and Chris Miller have got being the Last Man on Earth covered, Lord and Miller are on to potentially make the next great time travel comedy, which has kind of intrigued Hollywood both on the big and small screen since Back To The Future, over at Fox. For reference watch Midnight in Paris, Safety Not Guaranteed, possibly even Lord and Miller’s own Clone High.

Family Guy’s Julius Sharpe has written this project, In Time, which centers on the time travel adventures of friends trying to alter their present to their benefit.

There’s a put pilot commitment right now, but we hope this turns into a series order really soon.

It’s no secret that Nate Bargatze is one of Fallon’s favorite comics and you can see why with every set he’s done on Late Night and The Tonight Show including this one from last night.

Bargatze returned to the stage adjacent to Fallon’s desk once more and gave us some insight about how he, and probably many more people if they were being honest, would fare as a time traveler.
