Season 4 of “Maron” Premieres Tonight with Two Episodes
It’s all starts at 9PM tonight on IFC.
Marc Is Getting the Last Kind of Roommate He Would Want in the New Season of “Maron”
The new season of IFC’s Maron is taking the series to possibly its darkest (and possibly most fun) turn yet. Marc has kind of lost everything and in trying to put himself back together, he’s got a great deal unforeseen obstacles ahead of them.
Season 4 of Maron premieres this Wednesday at 9PM on IFC.
Trailer for Season 4 of “Maron” Shows Marc Reliving His Self-Destructive Days
IFC’s Maron takes Marc’s relationship to a garage further than he has ever before (as well as getting back heavily on drugs) for the latest season.
Then, follow where Marc’s reunion with drugs will take him on the season premiere Wednesday, May 4th at 9PM on IFC.
Season 3 of “Maron” Now on Netflix
Yes, the other two seasons are on there as well in case you need to catch up or want to binge watch the whole thing again.
Maron, the IFC scripted series based on WTF with Marc Maron and Maron’s life surrounding his celebrated podcast made it to its 3rd season this year. You can now engage in probably your preferred method of watching TV by streaming that 3rd season all on Netflix at your leisure.
“Maron” Is Getting a 4th Season at IFC
Who knew that podcasts would end up being the inspiration for a decent chunk of a cable network’s schedule for multiple seasons?
Along side Comedy Bang! Bang!, IFC’s has successfully adapted podcasts into two of their longer running series.
Somehow, We Got a Sort Of Shout Out on “Maron”
In comedy, it’s often an honor to get referenced in an Andy Kindler joke.
While we’ve heard Kindler do it on stage from time to time, Kindler specifically references The Comedy Bureau in this Maron clip, which has definitely made us feel like we’re doing something right around here.
So, thanks to both Maron and Kindler to give us the niche validation that our “staff” thrives on. (We’re fully aware that this is the sort of self-congratulatory post that also can be made fun of in a Kindler-esque joke, but we’re just glad to be mentioned on TV).
“Maron” Shows What Trying To Pick an Agent Can Be Like
As you’ve probably gathered from even watching a clip of Entourage, dealing with entertainment agencies can be difficult. Even if you’re just picking one to have represent you in order to move your career forward, trying to figure which one is best is sometimes like trying to pick between apples and other apples of similar, but different shades.
This clip from Maron gives a pretty good estimation of that experience.
Marc Maron Talks Handling Baby Hecklers and Long Time Internet Trolls on Kimmel
Stopping by to promote the new season of Maron, which starts tonight, Marc Maron chatted with Jimmy Fallon about opposite ends of the heckler/troll spectrum that comedians have come to deal with in this era of comedy.
First off, Marc had to delicately eal with a whole family including their baby being in the crowd at a show that he wasn’t aware was all ages.
Then, on the other end, Marc went to great lengths to get back at someone trolling on him Twitter. How far? How about casting someone in your show so you can tell a story about it on late night?

Season of 3 of “Maron” Coming May 14th
Season 3 of Maron premieres on Thurs. May 14th at 10PM on IFC and with it, comes the third season of a show based on doing a podcast that was just started as a thing to keep Marc from killing himself.
So, would the hashtag a la Community’s #sixseasonsandamovie for this be #sixseasonsonethousandsepisodesandamovie?
Season 2 of “Maron” on Netflix
— marc maron (@marcmaron) December 28, 2014
The holiday season isn’t quite over yet meaning there’s more time to get through whatever awkward situation whether it be not busy at work or still having to stay at your family’s place.
So, it’s the perfect time for you to get into season 2 of IFC’s Maron, which was just released on Netflix today.
IFC Renews Maron For Season 3, Sets Premiere For Spring 2015
IFC is giving a third season to Maron based on the life of Marc Maron and his podcast WTF with Marc Maron. The season premiere is set for sometime in spring next year, but WTF will be continuing on if you need that to fill in that gap of time.
Perhaps, they’ll have an episode that’s based on Marc interviewing director Kevin MacDonald when he was expecting Kids in the Hall’s Kevin McDonald.
Watch Marc Maron, Dave Anthony, and Andy Kindler on the Road on Maron
3 great comedic minds may not think alike. In fact, when in a car together, they may go back and forth riding the edge of each other’s patience as shown in this clip of Marc Maron, Dave Anthony and Andy Kindler driving on the road in an episode of IFC’s Maron.
While they may be not alike, they’re fun when stuck together.
Marc Maron Finds a New Way to Worry About Cancer & a Substitute for Coffee
Leave it to Marc Maron’s day off to pester a doctor to get an MRI because Maron thinks he has cancer.
Marc told that story on Late Night with Seth Meyers as well as what he does to get going in the morning in place of coffee, which is, appropriately enough for Marc, more complicated and intense than a cup of coffee.
Sounds like an episode recap of a pretty great episode of his IFC series Maron.
