Please Enjoy Juanita and Peter’s “Special” Private Jet Trip from Frankie Quinones and Donny Divanian

October 16, 2020
News
donny divanian, frankie quinones, juanita, sketch comedy

If you’re going to travel by plane these days, a private jet would seem to be the way to go in terms of keeping yourself safe from COVID-19. Of course, not all of us can afford it, but for those who can, you really ought to live life about the world in quarantine to the fullest.

That’s what the spicy couple Juanita Carmelita and Peter do on a “special” private jet that they have all to themselve. The chemistry between the pair, played respectively by Dress Up Gang‘s Frankie Quinones and Donny Divanian, is pretty undeniable even if it’s potentially looks like it’s going to heat up too much, and, as such, so damn fun to bear witness to.

Enjoy their latest tryst here.

Pick of the Day: OHAYO! From Inside a Monster with Atsuko Okatsuka (Live-stream) 8/30

August 26, 2020
News

We were so excited to see a TV version of Let’s Go Atsuko: A Woke Japanese Game Show with Atsuko Okatsuka, but it would seem that COVID-19 has put that on hold like it has pretty much everything on this planet.

Fret not as Atsuko has been plenty busy in quarantine. She has kept Let’s Go Atsuko going in a podcast/web cast format AND she has started a new variety show OHAYO! that will have a live-stream debut this weekend via Dynasty Typewriter. It would be just enough to have Okatsuka to helm the show and have a fine round-up of variety acts, but Atsuko has taken it a fun-loving step further by having broadcasting and hosting the show while in the belly of a furry monster. That is the sort of absurdist break from reality we need while we’re are actually stuck in our houses from plenty of real monsters of viruses, systemic oppression, climate change, etc.

This first OHAYO! this Sun. Aug. 30th at 6PM PT/9PM ET will have a damn good line-up of Yassir Lester, Frankie Quinones, Aparna Nancherla, Frankie Quiñones, Chelsea Peretti, and Ever Mainard.

Tickets are only $5 and you can (and very much should) get them here.

Forget all of those other stories about meeting up at a McDonald’s parking lot or walking six feet apart with someone that you’ve been on Zoom or FaceTime with off of dating app. Frankie Quinones and Donny Divanian, both from the amazing sketch group/series Dress Up Gang, show how you to properly romance your significant other during quarantine in a pretty safe, definitely distanced way.

Please enjoy (and take some cues from) Juanita Carmelita and Peter’s meet-up here.

Pick of the Day: Creeper’s Quarantine Kickback 5/5

News
cholofit, comedy livestream, creeper, frankie quinones

With the days wearing on and on in quarantine, the prospect of keeping things chill become harder and harder (even if you’re healthy, full stocked, and financially secure).

Thus, one might want to look to the chill, laid-back, centered energy of Creeper, creator of Cholofit, for some guidance to kickback and take in some good vibes.

Fortunately, Creeper (Frankie Quinones) along with a whole host of friends (other delightful Quinones characters) are putting on a whole “Quarantine Kickback” that will be the perfect sort of hang (and comedy show) for this year’s Cinco De Mayo.

Creeper’s Quarantine Kickback is set for this Tues. May 5th at 7PM PT/10PM ET and tickets are $5 GA and $20 VIP. Go get more details and definitely get your tickets here.

The Dress Up Gang’s TBS Series Will Finally Be Released Via TBS app/VOD

News

It’s finally happening. The absolutely deserving Dress Up Gang are finally get their day to properly release the series that they made for TBS that was shelved indefinitely. There were multiple attempts to show/screen the series over the course of several months, which always received such a warm reception and yet, was ultimately shut down from a wider distribution.

Thankfully, in this time when networks are trying to snatch up/make any content that they can, it indeed ended up being a perfect time for TBS to un-shelve such a hysterical show. Announced last night, Dress Up Gang’s Donny Divanian tweeted that TBS brass have opted to release the series via TBS app and VOD starting this very Friday.

Again, we’d like to reiterate that The Dress Up Gang managed to be more about nothing than Seinfeld and yet, be cleverly upbeat and so damn funny. It’s definitely worth your time to binge watch this weekend.

So excited to share that our show The Dress Up Gang will be released this Friday, May 1st on the TBS app and VOD! First ep will be available to anyone. Here’s a trailer for the episode Finding Frankie pic.twitter.com/G7tqQdq2c4

This Thursday, it will have been a year since Peacock started prancing around Club Tee Gee over in the lovely part of LA known as Atwater Village. In that time, it has quickly grown into a neatly packed and produced, tight stand-up show that has become a neighborhood (and LA) favorite on Thursday nights. Going for an entire year, especially when you’re maintaining a high quality show every week is incredibly difficult and deserves a nod of admiration (in person at this week’s show preferably)

So, join host Kiran Deol and a very, very special, extra stacked line-up all for the always nice price of a $5 suggested donation to celebrate Peacock’s One Year Anniversary.

OK, we’ll just say that this is the latest and greatest character from the immensely talented Frankie Quinones and, if you don’t already know, you best get into everything Frankie as he is in the process of breaking big (he’s playing the Wiltern at the end of this month FYI).

Now, we’ll let this sublime silliness speak for itself. Please watch and enjoy (over and over and over).

The rise of Frankie Quinones is something we’ve been really relishing for years now. Whether it be his characters like Creeper or Dress Up Gang or his own stand-up, Frankie’s comedy has always charmed us with equal parts heart and silliness.

This September, Frankie will be doing his own evening, presumably with his entire comedy arsenal, at the Wiltern. We’re pretty sure this will be the first big theater he’ll be playing in town and we’re damned sure you shouldn’t miss it.

Tickets start at $25 and you need to go them here.

When you’re a monster of a human being, you often wouldn’t be self-aware of your own horrific nature. In fact, you have probably gotten so far below the depths of your humanity that ever having a metaphorical mirror held up to you is probably an exercise in futility.

The “secret” Pablo Escobar sitcom, It’s Pablo, “uncovered” by Más Mejor shines a light on this phenomenon in the latest episode.
