Teaser Trailer for Wreck It Ralph 2 Promises Ralph Will Deal with the Existential Crisis-Inducing Nature of the Internet

The voices of John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman will be returning this Thanksgiving to their beloved characters in the Wreck It Ralph sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2.

According to this extended teaser, this installment seems like like it’ll be hitting some existential notes that should please the more adult audience, perhaps in an Inside Out-sort-of-a-way.

Also, if this teaser’s over two minutes, we can only wonder what Disney has planned for the full trailer.

Devastator Press’ Latest Books “Toys 4 Cheap” and “Dream It! Screw It!” Feature Fake Failed Disney Rides and Cheap Toys That Should Never Exist

Indie humor publishing arm Devastator has their latest releases that really take a world of children’s wonder to the dark, grown-up side.

Toys 4 Cheap by Asterios Kokkinos and Jimmy Hasse reads like those Sunday pull out ads, but features a multitude of children’s toys that more belong in a more clever version of Spencer’s Gifts than at Toys “R” Us. See plenty of examples of above.

Geoffrey Golden’s Dream It! Screw It!: 30 Years of Rejected Disney Park Ideas from Dipp Disney takes on the failed ideas of a fictitious career of a forgotten Disney relative. The attractions include a “child feeding zoo” and other dystopian Disney rides that never made it past “imagineering” stage.

Both will make great gifts for you or the comedy fan in your life this holiday season.

As you’re probably getting ready to “feel all the feels” with Pixar’s upcoming The Good Dinosaur, don’t forget that there will be a sweet, funny, touch, probably heart-wrenching short film from Pixar as well.

This short is going to be Sanjay’s Super Team and it looks like it’ll keep the streak of Pixar’s wonderful shorts going based off this clip.

Screen Junkies’ Honest Trailers has pointed out expertly, time and time again, that many classic Disney films were way more problematic than you would ever remember.

Their latest Honest Trailer for Disney’s Aladdin is another classic example. Watch it here.

The Honest Trailer for “Peter Pan” Will Make You Feel The Opposite of Nostalgia

Fondly remembering your childhood, and even going so far as to reboot it in many cases, is very en vogue right now.

Unfortunately, many things that you saw growing up, don’t hold up or are much worst than you remember.

Screen Junkies do a great, hilarious job of showing how many Disney movies were much darker and had much more racism than you probably would recall in their Honest Trailers like the one for The Lion King.

They do a real bang up job for their latest Honest Trailer for a time honored Disney movie, Peter Pan. Watch it and try to jog your memory how you let everything wrong about the movie slip by you.

There’s a Short Film That’s a Follow-Up to “Frozen” and It Just Got a Scathing ‘Honest Trailer’

When Jason Bateman said that Hollywood doesn’t have any discipline when it comes to a successful movie on WTF, Disney doing a short film based on one of Disney’s biggest hits as soon as they can is a sort of thing he’s talking about.

Luckily, Screen Junkies’ Honest Trailers are around and do not spare the rod on Frozen Fever.

As evidenced by the boffo box office done by both Jurassic World and Inside Out this summer, the odds are in favor of you loving Pixar’s latest, The Good Dinosaur.

Combining both dinosaurs as well as Pixar’s deft ability to hit nerves that makes audiences of all ages laugh and cry, The Good Dinosaur from Peter Sohn, Enrico Casarosa, and Bob Peterson will probably make Thanksgiving better this year.

Just see for yourself in this trailer, then look for it in theaters on Nov. 25th.

Disney Pixar’s Latest Short Film Will Be “Sanjay’s Super Team”

Not only does Pixar have a tradition of making touching, funny animated films that are more expressive and relatable than the most realistic CGI renderings have ever achieved, they also have a great tradition of putting a touching, funny short film in front of every one of their theatrical releases.

Whether it be Geri’s Game or One Man Band or La Luna or the latest one, Lava, that plays in front of Inside Out, they’re all synonymous with Pixar’s movies.

So, Disney Pixar just announced their latest short, Sanjay’s Super Team, will play in front of The Good Dinosaur this Thanksgiving.

As you can see from the first images, it looks like Pixar might have another award winning short film on their hands as well as something that echoes their beloved titles Toy Story and The Incredibles.

If they can make a gritty Snow White remake, why not a gritty update for Bambi?

That’s what SNL was thinking lat night when they made a trailer for something that’s a Fast and Furious 7 meets a live action Bambi with The Rock wearing deer ears and a fur vest and Taran Killam in a muscle suit and bunny ears.

Yes, they have plenty of pun “kill lines” too.

Watch it here.

There Are Plans for a “Toy Story” Themed Hotel in Upcoming Disneyland Shanghai

First off, there are plans for a Disneyland Shanghai, which you should take a moment to take in. On top of that, there will be an entire hotel done in the theme of the “Toy Story” film franchise.

The concept art shows that exterior painted in the design of Andy’s room, which is already has us nostalgic. We’re just spitballing here, but, we’d hope that there would be an actual Pizza Planet as well as a place where Sid’s “Franken-toys” hang out.

Jon Heder and Johnny Pemberton Will Voice Disney’s Pickle & Peanut

Disney Television Animation has gone into production for their latest series Pickle and Peanut that will be voiced by none other than Jon Heder and Johnny Pemberton. It’s set to premiere later next year and will be a mix of 2D and live action.

With Heder and Pemberton attached, this will probably one of the trippier, cooler things on The Disney Channel.

ABC Having ‘Toy Story’ TV Special for Halloween

As far as the Toy Story franchise concerned, we guess it might have only been a matter of time before a TV version would come about as we’re sure it has probably been discussed frequently. Ever since Toy Story 3, there has been digital shorts featuring various “toys” here and there released by Pixar, but, if anything, we’re happy to see that it’s a Halloween special that doesn’t have to worry about a season arc.

With that being said, be sure to catch Toy Story of TERROR airs on ABC 8PM Oct. 16th.

Amy Poehler, Lewis Black, Mindy Kaling and Bill Hader Among Voice Cast for Latest Pixar Movie “Inside Out”

Not only does a Amy Poehler, Lewis Black, Bill Hader, and Mindy Kaling voiced Pixar movie sound delightful, but the premise for Pete Docter’s “Inside Out” might make for a wonderful, funny combination.

We’re always happy to see a non-spin off/sequel from Disney/Pixar.
