While 2020 continues to be a nightmare, you now have a second Parks and Recreation virtual reunion to look forward to very soon. Parks and Rec creator Mike Schur, Nick Offerman, and Adam Scott (and special guests) will be joining Nithya Raman and supporting her campaign for LA City Council District 4.

If you look to Raman’s inclusive and compassionate campaign and platform, it’s kind of hard to not see parallels between her and one Leslie Knope. This event will be donate what you can for Nithya’s campaign ranging from levels of “Eagleton Resident” (free) to Lil Sebastian Memorial Fund ($500) or even Pyramid of Greatness ($800).

This Parks and Recreunion is set for Labor Day on Sept. 7th at 7:30PM PT/10:30PM ET. Get more details and tickets here.

Equal parts coming-of-age story and thriller involving an alleged sex criminal, Flower not only seems like a timely movie for this year, but yet another welcome work that is co-written by Matt Spicer (co-writer/director of Ingrid Goes West) and a film that also appears to be a breakout role for Zoey Deutch.

See for yourself in the trailer.

Flower has a limited theatrical release scheduled for Mar. 16th.

When you think of Michael Bolton doing a TV special for Valentine’s Day, there are a certain set of images that come to mind.

However, when you add Comedy Bang! Bang! and The Lonely Island into the mix, you get a sort of doubling down on the man, the myth, and the legend that is Michael Bolton.

See what CBB and The Lonely Island teaming up with Bolton actually looks like in the trailer for Michael Bolton’s Big, Sexy Valentine’s Day Special.

If that already has you going, you can go watch the whole thing on Netflix right now.

HOLY SH*T (You’ve Got To Vote) from Moby

Celebrities cursing seem to to be taking the place of them simply telling you to “rock the vote”. Maybe things are just that dire this election, maybe?

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s Rachel Bloom leads of a song that not only indulges in an expletive-laden ballad with the likes of Elizabeth Banks, Mony, Adam Scott, Adam Pally, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Rauch, Jane Lynch, Paul Scheer, Amber Rose, June Diane Raphael, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Naya Rivera, and Ginger Gonzaga, but also makes fun of all those songs where celebrities come together to encourage the general public to take action for a good a cause.

Watch it here and, oh yeah, make sure you go vote.

Fox Developing an X-Files Parody of Sorts ‘Ghosted’ Starring Adam Scott and Craig Robinson

A pairing of Adam Scott and Craig Robinson could be a hit in a multitude of scenarios, but this parody of Fox’s classic series X-Files from Tom Gormican is definitely intriguing.

Also, since this could potentially be on the same network as the X-Files (as well as Fringe), there can be plenty of fun pot shots at both shows as well as Fox itself.

The love triangle is a tried and true formula within romantic comedies, but making that enticing in 2016 is a bit of a challenge.

Sophie Goodhart’s My Blind Brother has a love triangle between Jenny Slate, Nick Kroll, and a blind Adam Scott that might just be able to pull that off.

See for yourself in this trailer.

Look for My Blind Brother in theaters next month on September 23rd.

During his stop on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, Adam Scott wanted to share the joy he’s gotten from his new dog so much that he brought his dog onto the show.

Apparently, his dog has many features that resemble the comedian and actor Steve Agee, which undoubtedly contributes to why Adam loves his new dog.

Meet the pooch as he walks on to Kimmel’s set here.

Gettin’ Rad just got a whole lot radder.

Adam and Naomi Scott’s Gettin’ Rad Productions have just sold Deep S.I.X., which seems to be a comedic cross between Homeland and Ghost Adventures from writer Anthony King, and Donuthead, which will delve in detail into the anxieties of an 11-year old from writer Irene Mecchi, at HBO and NBC, respectively.

While they’re not calling this The Greatest Event in Television History, selling two shows to two different networks, one being premium cable and the other being broadcast network, at the same time is pretty great.

You’re probably home or not at work by this point, right? If you’re going to watch this, you should probably be sure of that.

More and more, The Overnight with Adam Scott, Taylor Schilling, Jason Schwartzman, and Judith Godreche looks like the dark horse for this Summer’s R-rated comedy hit. Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive on the first 7 minutes of the movie, which will probably you bring around to our way of thinking.

Where many networks are going lax on their comedy, Adult Swim is apparently more than happy to pick up the slack.

Coming up for their upfront slate, Adult Swim has:
-a new series from China, IL’s Brad Neely called “TV Sucks”
-another Brett Gelman “Dinner with…” special
–Robot Chicken DC Comics Special III: Friendship Is Magic
-Untitled Golf Special with Adam Scott and Jon Daly (Scott and Daly were mistaken by many for the professional golfers that share their names)
-a special for Jon Glaser’s Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter
-Pilots from/with Paul Scheer, Million Dollar Extreme, Brian Huskey, Jason Mantzoukas, a Mexican border amusement park, Seth Green, Matt Senreich, Daniel Weidenfeld, DJ Douggpound, Bento Box, a children’s show hosted by a person that has rage issues, Rob Corddry, an upstart terrorist organization, and more.

We hope we get to see all of this very soon.

Some ‘Swinging’ Might Be Afoot in Trailer for “The Overnight”

By swinging, we do mean sex.

In Patrick Brice’s The Overnight, Adam Scott and Taylor Schilling play a couple who just moved to LA with their son and Jason Schwartzman and Judith Godrèche play another couple who welcome them very graciously, perhaps a little overly so.

A welcome dinner turns quickly into something suggestive of some of the hotter scenes of Vicky Cristina Barcelona in another hit Sundance comedy.

Watch the trailer here and mark down the release date for Jun. 19th.

Right after the finale of Parks and Recreation aired last night, the entire cast as well as co-creator Mike Schur (and a special guest that came to “Jamm” things up) appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers to relive all the memories.

Of course, the goodbye, perhaps the last time all of them will be in a room together went as memorable and as in the spirit-of-Parks-and-Rec as it could be.

There was a barely rehearsed song for Seth Meyers.

There were toasts from one cast member to another one picked from a hat.

There was even another song that was supposed to be a final rendetion of “Bye, Bye Li’l Sebastian”, but Jim O’Heir, Aubrey Plaza, and Jon Glaser had other plans.

So far, she’s going to co-star with Adam Scott in Sleeping With Other People, joining the cast of Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart’s Get Hard, and also producing her own comedy pilot Teachers at TV Land.

This is only 3 months in to 2014, so who knows how much higher she’ll go.
