The New Yorker Festival: Natasha Lyonne and Maya Rudolph talk with Michael Schulman (Live-stream)

Natasha Lyonne, an award-winning actress, director, screenwriter, and producer, is the co-creator, writer, and star of the Netflix series “Russian Doll,” which has won three Emmy Awards. Her other performances include roles in the series “Orange Is the New Black” (for which she won two Screen Actors Guild Awards) and the films “Slums of Beverly Hills,” “Antibirth,” and “Ad Astra.” Lyonne’s and Maya Rudolph’s production banner, Animal Pictures, is behind the upcoming special “Sarah Cooper: Everything’s Fine,” which Lyonne will also direct, as well as the animated series “The Hospital.”
Maya Rudolph is an Emmy-nominated actress, comedian, singer, and producer. Her television work includes “Saturday Night Live,” “Up All Night,” and “The Good Place,” as well as voice performances on “Big Mouth” and “Bless the Harts.” She has also lent her voice to numerous animated pictures, and has appeared in many films, including “Bridesmaids,” “Inherent Vice,” “Wine Country,” and the upcoming “Hubie Halloween.” Animal Pictures, the production company that Rudolph founded alongside Natasha Lyonne, has a first-look deal with Amazon.
