Pick of the Day: The State: Breakin’ Hearts & Dippin’ Balls (in NYC) 10/16 & 10/17
Legendary (and yes, it’s appropriate here) sketch group, The State, comprised, for this night, of Ken Marino, David Wain, Kerri Kenney, Joe Lo Truglio, Michael Ian Black, Kevin Allison, and Michael Patrick Jann are getting back together for an exclusive tour (that might blossom into something bigger maybe with Thomas Lennon, Robert Ben Garant, and Todd Holoubeck?) maturely called Breakin’ Hearts & Dippin’ Balls. The ramifications of The State reassembling are so massive, which is partially why it happens so rarely (that and the fact that each individual member is quite successful on their own comedy path).
Thus far, they’ve only got dates in Denver and NYC lined-up, but that means you kind of should go out of your way to make sure you catch what you can of the Breakin’ Hearts & Dippin’ Balls tour.
