Pick of the Day: Mike Birbiglia: The Old Man and The Pool (in LA) 7/27-8/28
Mike Birbiglia, perhaps the poster guy for comedian solo shows these days, is coming back to LA for a nice, long run for his latest hour, The Old Man and the Pool, before he probably goes and tapes it for Netflix. Birbiglia has done an LA run of his previously celebrated hours for the last several years (minus COVID times) at the LA Music Center in DTLA as one of the extremely few comedians to regularly take on their massive theaters.
This run for The Old Man and the Pool will happen at The Mark Taper Forum at the LA Music Center starting this week on Wed.
