The sound of music and laughter compels him to turn off the TV\, put on his best outfit\, pour himself a drink and venture out into the night. When he enters\, the entire party stops what they’re doing and looks at him. He looks back. This is where the show begins. \nReshma Meister has been developing clown bits and internet videos around Los Angeles for the past few years. She’s performed at The Elysian\, Dynasty Typewriter\, Hollywood Improv\, The Comedy Store\, and more. She has devised work with Speigelworld\, created many digital skits for Fashion Brand Company\, and recently made an appearance in “Sketchy Queens” developed by Liam Krug and Jinx Monsoon. She plays regularly within the clown ensemble FLWLS and astrology clown group\, PLANETS\,PLANETS\,PLANETS. “None of Your Business” is her latest project where she explores train of thought\, etiquette\, and social rules. It premiered this year at Fresno’s Rogue Festival where Kings River Magazine said\, “The uniqueness of None of Your Business is difficult to capture in a written description. Exquisitely weird and oddly appealing\, this is one of the most “fringe” productions I have had the pleasure to experience at the Rogue. The medicine she provides is never the same and depends on the night and the audience (she might channel an entity\, sing ancient Y2K chants\, dance with strangers\, juggle\, pull a tarot card or give you a kiss… or many kisses) until the audience is healed. Is this Venezuelan stranger a healer who holds the secrets of the universe\, or is she a little rascal just trying to steal kisses from gorgeous strangers? And does it matter?
