Ranging from clean jokes to the raunchiest humor, joke books of all kinds have been written for scores covering myriads and myriads of subject matter and backgrounds. In fact, it’s a past time for some comedy nerds to dig up the ones that haven’t aged well at all, which is a big, giant percentage of them.

Comedy writers Allison Kelley, Kate Herzlin, Danielle Kraese, and Ysabel Yates are aiming to change that, and make some comedy history, with their new book Jokes to Offend Men that features a cornucopia of classic set-up/punch jokes, but aiming it towards men (after women being the direct target of so much stand-up comedy of decades past).

Jokes to Offend Men is available in hardcover right now (with audiobook due out 10/24), but you can catch Allison, Kate, Danielle, and Ysabel in person discussing the book at length, thanks to Books Are Magic, with Simon & Schuster’s own Claire Tadokoro at Wild East Brewing Co. in Gowanus, Brooklyn on Wed. Oct. 26th at 7PM.

Tickets are $10.89 and you ought to snag them here now.
