What is a Woman: A One Woman(?) Show (in LA)

May 3, 2025 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
$15
  • « The Fast and the Furious: A Musical Parody (in NYC)
  • Live at the Barbershop (in NYC) »

In this show, Sara Caplan (UCB, QTs, she/her) plays a recently-fired professor doing her absolute best to cram a semester-long advanced seminar in Gender and Philosophy into the first and apparently last meeting of the class. Combining comedy, philosophy, trans memoir, and plenty of audience interaction, Sara does her best to keep it light while guiding her students through the existential void that lurks ever beneath us. This is the second performance of this show, after a sold-out premiere in the Joy Who Lived theater festival!
