What happens when the master builder of New York, Robert Moses, loses his power and attempts to host a late night talk show? Who cares, because for one night only, former president Lyndon Baines Johnson takes over the show! That’s right, LBJ has wrested control over The Power Joker away from Robert Moses to discuss one of the signature issues of his presidency: voting rights. Come on down to enjoy this old fashioned Texas hootenanny complete with comedy, activism, and live music.

Featuring special guests Sean Morales-Doyle, director of the Brennan Center’s Voting Rights and Elections Program and Amy Lebowitz, Director of Public Relations for the New York City Campaign Finance Board. Plus, Texas-sized entertainment from two sons of the lone star state, comedian Josh Tobin (The Gilded Age, The Other Two) and musician Ricky Stein.

As always, the show will feature The Little Congress Players: Adrienne Ianniciello (Characters Welcome, UCB), Will Jacobs (The Other Two, UCB), and Fallon Boles (UCB, Loose Lips). House band Harris McCoy w& The Pedernales Posse will also be on hand for the hoedown.
