Appropriate physical distancing must be maintained at all times between patrons, except members of the same household or those that attend together. To help ensure this, we have roped off every other row in both our auditoriums.
Current California state regulations suggest a maximum capacity of 50%, a guideline that The Frida Cinema is exceeding by limiting our auditoriums to an even lower 40%. Guests are asked to maintain appropriate physical distancing between patrons, except members of the same household or those that attend together.
The Frida Cinema has installed new MERV-13 air filters in all of our HVAC units, and have ensured that all systems are in working order.
Employees have been trained on hand-hygiene practices, and are required to wash hands frequently at easily-accessible hand-washing facilities. Guests are encouraged to wash their hands regularly.
Complimentary hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol (EPA approved ethanol or isopropyl) have been liberally placed in easily accessible public areas throughout the lobby, including a new touchless dispenser at our front door.
Auditoriums have been carefully disinfected, and high-touch surfaces will be wiped down periodically with EPA-registered disinfectant.
Employee Health Training
All employees have been trained on the signs and symptoms of COVID-19, as well as theatre policies and procedures.
In the effort to limit the hand-to-hand transfer of paper tickets, we encourage our guests to purchase their tickets online through our website. We will however sell tickets at the door, and our volunteers will wear gloves to further reduce risk of contamination.
