Sylvie Wang Presents Sylvie Wang (in LA)

Sylvie Wang has been doing comedy for a long, long time. For almost a hundred years, in fact. Now, in the year 2100, at the age of one hundred and something (she’ll never tell the exact number, a lady has a right to her secrets~), she’s doing her Farewell Tour where she’ll be performing all her classic bits, riffs, jokes, and characters. She’ll very generously give time to her obsessed fans to say their favorites acts of hers, and she’ll perform them – perfectly. She’ll do jokes spanning from the year 2000 to 2046 to 2100, disregarding what is considered polite and politically correct in the year 2100. It’ll be an hour long show, but with at least three to four hours worth of laughs.

She’ll be perfect, and she’ll be doing it all.

Sylvie Wang is a writer, comëdiènne, and performer from Queens who made the very unique decision to move to Los Angeles and she lives there now. She is a contributing writer for such publications as Reductress and The New Yorker. She studied and improvised at UCB NY, and has performed on Asian AF and ASSSCAT. She is a recent recipient of the Groundlings SNL Diversity Scholarship, and was a finalist for the Yes And Laughter Lab Fellowship. She currently teaches improv at UCB in LA. Ultimately she is a silly gal who likes to get big money laughs.
