Sophie Santos…is Codependent (in LA)

When Sophie’s girlfriend of four years breaks up with her because the couple was too codependent, Sophie’s OCD is manifested into a frat boy who no one else can see. As OCD guides Sophie through a series of comedic and existential adventures, including “winning the breakup,” Sophie begins to understand that the root of her codependency stems from her Spanish-Filipino father and her upbringing. Now, Sophie must decide to continue to play into OCD’s fears or face them. This one-person musical debuted with a sold out run at the 2023 Edinburgh Festival.
