Soft Animal (in LA)

Soft Animal is a psychedelic clown odyssey through the history of life on Earth—from primordial goo to late-stage capitalism. Aivaliotis shape-shifts across time, species, and emotional breakdowns in this absurd, heartfelt solo show that asks: how did we get here, and how do we keep going?

Part zoo, part existential meltdown, Soft Animal combines clown, science, and interactive comedy to explore survival, interdependence, and the horror and beauty of being alive. Think Darwin meets Jim Carrey meets a serotonin-deficient octopus.

This is George’s third original solo show following “How To Be a Man” and “Early Man” which have toured through Hollywood Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe, and strange basements across the country. In 2019, he was named a New Face of Comedy by the Just For Laughs Festival. He recently voiced a national campaign for Apple and appeared in work for Nickelodeon and Comedy Central. He was once described as “vaguely Mediterranean but probably trustworthy.”
