After a seemingly perfect Brooklyn situationship falls apart, a heartbroken woman sets out to find closure. Through clown, audience interaction, and public ritual, Saidah Belo-Osagie excavates love, longing, rejection, and self-performance in the age of digital courtship. Created and performed by Belo-Osagie whose work has been seen at Union Hall, Caveat, and Soho Playhouse, and directed by Shariffa Ali, SAIDAH GETS CLOSURE is a solo clown show about modern heartbreak and the stories we tell ourselves to survive it.
