ROBOT KARAOKE PRESENTS: TAX NIGHT (in NYC)

April 15 @ 9:30 pm - 11:00 pm
$15
  • « Q.E.D. Astoria (in NYC)
  • Rushmore (in LA) »

Robot Karaoke is a live show where volunteers sing all-new words to classic tunes. Our songwriting system, The Weird Algorithm, searches an eclectic data catalog for phrases that match the original rhyme and meter of each line, creating lyrics that have never been sung before and will never be sung again. This special Caveat edition will feature special guest experts on tax forms and bureaucracy, who will attempt to sing songs with new lyrics sourced from U.S. Individual Income Tax Return Form 1040 and other to-be-announced sources.

Hosted by Jamie Brew and Jenn Schiffer, two entrepreneurs on a mission to make karaoke harder.

With special guests:
Maddy Varner (WIRED, The Markup, U.S. Department of Justice) – investigative data journalist (FULL BIO PENDING)
Jackie Liu – new media artist and designer (FULL BIO PENDING)
