R.I.P. D.E.I. 2: BLACK FROM THE DEAD (in LA w/Livestream)

March 21 @ 10:30 pm - 11:30 pm
$11.96
  • « Harold & Maude (near LA)
  • Q.E.D. Astoria (in NYC) »

After a hundred and fifty years or 10-12 depending on who you ask, D.E.I. has come to an end. We might as well do some comedy about it.

Join Astronomy Club as we gather together to celebrate the homegoing of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Affirmative Action, Black History Month, etc. They’re dead now, or did they ever exist? Using personal stories and interviews from the audience as inspiration, Astronomy Club + special guests will improvise scenes honoring our history, because Black History is everyone’s history… at least it was. Or was it? We’re actually not sure what we’re allowed to say anymore. Don’t arrest us!

A percentage of the proceeds from this show will go to support the NAACP.

Astronomy Club: Jonathan Braylock, Monique Moses, Keisha Zollar, James III

With special guests: Nnamdi Ngwe, Shakira Paye, Corin Wells
