Pilot Season (in LA w/Livestream)

December 7 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
$17.94
  • « A John Newspaper Christmas Carol (in LA)
  • An Evening of Improv: Yeti or Not (in LA) »

In UCB’s Pilot Season, veteran comedy TV writers take the audience’s suggestion of a show title, and, on the spot, develop a pilot for a brand new show. It could be a sitcom, a prestige drama, or any number of different genres. Talented improvisers then take that pitch and bring it to life on stage.

In solidarity with ongoing efforts to improve diversity and representation in the industry, all proceeds from the show will go to the Entertainment Community Fund, which provides emergency financial assistance and supports underrepresented writers and actors.

Hosted by Saleh Karaman & Chris De La Cruz

Improvisers: Anna Salinas, Chris De La Cruz, Mike Castle, Monique Moses, Saleh Karaman, X Mayo

Writers: Mariah Smith (Grown-ish), Jorge Thomson (Wizards of Waverly Place, Twisted Metal), Tasha Henderson (Home Economics)

Musical scoring by Branson NeJame
