Elisha Shapiro is an LA conceptual artist and the most famous contemporary nihilist.  He is known for art events like the 1984 Nihilist Olympics, several Nihilist Party political campaigns and a bunch of other art pieces.  Since 1999, the International Nihilist Film Festival has involved Shapiro finding and presenting short films that entertainingly challenge many of our assumptions about life.  And they make us laugh.  And they are more interesting than the films you will see at normal film festivals.
