Facial Recognition Comedy is a nationally touring stand-up show featuring some of the funniest comics of South and West Asian descent. Founded by comedians Fizaa Dosani, Zahra Ali, and Pallavi Gunalan, each show presents a new lineup of hilarious comedians who are NOT the same person. This show was created as a response to tokenism in entertainment, highlighting the vast diversity within our massive but underrepresented demographic. Facial Recognition Comedy has had bicoastal residencies in both New York City and Los Angeles, and currently runs a monthly show at the World Famous Comedy Store. The show was also listed by the New York Times as one of the top 5 shows to see at the NYC Comedy Festival. Facial Recognition Comedy has also been mentioned in Deadline, Vulture, Screen Rant, Backstage, Daily Beast, and more.
