Avery Moore is an award winning comedian and actress. Born and raised in San Antonio, she traveled the weirdo pipeline to Austin where she live and worked for the past 16 years!She now resides in Los Angeles. Avery has performed at Fantastic Fest, Fest (Gainesville,FL), SXSW, The Moontower Comedy Festival, The Hollywood Fringe Festival and was selected as a New Face 2018 at The Montréal Just For Laughs Festival. She’s appeared on PBS, Amazon Prime, Shudder, Doug Loves Movies, and has toured with some of the greats: Louie Anderson, Martha Kelly, Joe Mande and her little plastic Jesus. 2016, she and her friend and fellow comedian, Jake Flores, got tattoos of Dale Gribble (Rest in Peace Johnny Hardwick) and Hank Hill. In 2023, She and Flores started a King of The Hill Podcast called That’s My Podcast, I Don’t Know You, because they are from Texas and also Mother Nature.

Avery was named Best Stand Up Comic in Austin in 2018 and 2024 by The Austin Chronicle Best Of readers poll, and is one half of beloved Austin comedy duo and music video darlings, The McCuewans. Her debut Album “Avery Moore Live at The Ballroom”  was released in 2023, and her first special taped at Moontower 2024 premiered  at the 2025 Moontower Comedy Festival with popcorn and everything in The iconic State Theater on S Congress Ave. in Austin, TX. “Avery’s Special Movie” was released on YouTube on Wednesday July 8th, 2026. This summer she starred in The Mysteries of Persephone at Hollywood Fringe and people had very nice things to say.
