Little Shushan Purim Carnival (in NYC)

March 1 @ 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
$11.79
  • « Story Jam @ Lyric Hyperion (in LA)
  • Puppet Up! Uncensored (in LA) »

Celebrate Purim in Little Shushan with carnival games, artist vendors, and a live comedy performance!

It’s almost Purim in Little Shushan, and you know what that means–time to drink until we can’t tell the difference between Mordecai and Haman! Let’s celebrate Esther and Vashti and the triumph of an oppressed people fighting a corrupt government while raising money for Palestine aid.

MARKET: 4-7pm
Shop work from local artists and vendors – ceramics, textiles, prints, jewelry, snacks, and more. Get your face painted! Have a caricature drawn! Play nostalgic carnival games, win prizes, and impress your friends, enemies, and lovers. Enter a raffle benefiting the PCRF and Sameer Project.

COMEDY SHOW: 8pm
Come for the market, stay for the show! We’re ending the night with a show hosted by Marley Gotterer and a lineup including Jer Block, Evan Lazarus, Zach Schiffman, and Matzah Belle Soup.
