Lally Katz: Sourdough (in LA)

October 14, 2025 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
$11.33
  • « Eastville Comedy Club (in NYC)
  • LGBT+ on The Mic @ Tao Comedy Studio (in LA) »

Sourdough is a story of compulsion, obsession— and starter. Writer and performer Lally Katz takes audiences on a hilarious, heartbreaking, and wildly unpredictable ride through her baking process and unconventional life.

From being possessed by an evil spirit as a child, to baking pies to win over a rock star, to coming face to face with mortality as a soccer mom in Santa Clarita — Katz serves up a night of storytelling that’s always funny, always surprising, and profoundly human.

Lally Katz is a playwright, performer, screenwriter,  and memoirist, widely regarded as one of Australia’s most in-demand writers. Her work has been described as “if The Simpsons was written by Tennessee Williams” (Sydney Morning Herald). She has written over 50 plays that have premiered on the main stages of leading Australian theatres and internationally.
