Kelly Krauter Sings the Great American Songbook of Tortured Women (in LA)

February 1 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
$17.85
  • « Eastville Comedy Club (in NYC)
  • Potluck @ The Comedy Store (in LA) »

In almost all great American musicals of the 20th and 21st century, there stands one female character facing insurmountable circumstances, often whose very essence proves to be her greatest opponent in life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. In her own life, Kelly, an actor who’s musical theatre and performing career began at the ripe age of 9, can relate to the seemingly insurmountable task of getting out of her own way to pursue a dream, and fighting for validation and success in an industry that wouldn’t piss on you if your were on fire.

In this cabaret revue, Kelly will perform the ballads, anthems, and lamentations, and explore the kinship she feels to some of the most beloved, tragic female figures of the Great American Musical Theatre landscape.

Credits: Waitress 2nd National Tour (Jenna understudy), Off-Broadway: Single Rider, Pop Punk High.
