Inner Voices (in LA)

When Kara arrives late to her own solo show, her “inner voices” step up to cover for her. Kara’s Inner Perfectionist leads the charge and attempts to wrangle Kara’s other inner voices (The Inner Child, Anxiety, Sir Brad, Brigitte and the dreaded “Ego”) in a desperate attempt save face and “get it right”.

Kara began creating her “inner voices” characters in 2021 when she was diagnosed with OCD. Her Perfectionist character was the first to go viral online, and was soon followed by her characters the Inner Child, the Ego, Anxiety, The Inner French person and many more. “Inner Voices” is about Kara’s search for peace and acceptance among all the varied parts of her self.
