How To Get a Second Husband (in LA)
A comedically vulnerable exploration of divorce, rediscovering yourself, re-marrying, and finally achieving the ultimate goal — dreamy, custom cabinets — Jackie turns the true story of her scandalous divorce into a laugh-out-loud “self-help seminar.”
As an outrageous version of herself, Jackie guides her disciples through the Seven Steps to Get a Second Husband. What unfolds is a hilarious, must-see performance that’s part stand-up, part catharsis, and part group therapy (without the copay).
“This show is for anyone who’s divorced, knows someone who’s divorced, or should get divorced,” says Johnson. “Also, anyone who could use a laugh and a cry in the same night.”
Directed by Emmy Winning Kimmy Gatewood (Girls5eva), choreographed by Emmy Winning Kathryn Burns (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), with original music by Adam Tressler (Modern Family), How To Get a Second Husband is a comedy event you don’t want to miss. Jackie has sold out performances across the country, including the iconic San Francisco Sketchfest, and now brings her unfiltered, heartfelt, and deeply funny voice to make her Hollywood Fringe Debut.
