“Friendliest” follows comedian Drew Lausch, a self-destructive comic book artist attempting to create the first ever queer SuperHero, “Fagman,” as a way to distract himself from his chaotic life in his hometown of Fargo, ND. As he works on his comic, Drew confronts the trauma and relationships of his past, uncovering the dark roots of his messy existence.
