Five First Boots (in LA)

July 9, 2025 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
$17.85
  • « The Novelizers – Hosted by Dave Hill (in NYC)
  • Bruddah’s (near LA) »

Survivor. RuPaul’s Drag Race. The Traitors. We love watching people compete on reality shows, but what about the ones who get sent home first? The contestants who achieved their ultimate goal, only to be told to kick rocks on day one? Steve Szlaga (Dropout) plays five first boots as they try (or refuse) to cope with the universal feeling of rejection.

Written and Performed by Steve Szlaga
Directed by Julie Brister.

STEVE SZLAGA was born and raised in Michigan, but has lived in LA long enough to be considered a local. He is an alumni of The CBS Diversity Showcase, The Groundlings Sunday Company, UCB’s Harold Night, and UCB’s Maude Night. He’s a writer, performer, and improvisor, but his real talent lies in writing quick and concise website bios.
