Final Recitations (in LA)

Final Recitations is an event with a distinct vibe and purpose. Several extremely kind, well-regarded and undeniably contemporary writers, artists, and performers have agreed to take the stage in alphabetical order to share something they’ve internalized irrevocably. Molly Lambert, Pierce Campion, Matthew Goldin, Alexandra Jade, Christina Catherine Martinez, and Lena Redford — they each “wrote a thing,” which they then memorized, thereby transforming themselves into living texts. That’s not necessarily immoral… It just means it’s going to be a reading event with a performative aspect to it.
