FEELINGS by Elodie Azoulay (in LA)

May 24, 2025 @ 10:30 pm - May 25, 2025 @ 12:00 am
$10
  • « The Tiny Cupboard (in NYC)
  • Q.E.D. Astoria (in NYC) »

Get to know the feelings you never knew you had. Somewhere between a TED talk, a preschool classroom, and group therapy, FEELINGS is comedian Elodie Azoulay’s first solo clown show and delightful romp through the psyche. As they attempt to demonstrate their “expertise” in this immersive queer multimedia experience, the lines between different feelings, between fact and fiction, start to blur. As the coping mechanisms they demonstrate to the crowd start to fail and confuse, we start to see what they are actually coping with. FEELINGS is intimate and gentle, but also dangerous and nutty, embodying the tension between play and analysis, profundity and profanity, sincerity and farce.

Performed by Elodie Azoulay @elodieeznuts
Directed by Kyla McCracken @mustardforever
Choreography by Felicia St. Cyr @saint.cyr_
Music by Osei Parker @oseiparker
Poster design by Michelle Mattar @Michellemattar
