FEELINGS: A Solo Clown Show by Elodie Azoulay (near LA)

March 2, 2024 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
$16
  • « The Witching Hour: A Female and Nonbinary Mic (in LA)
  • Live at the Barbershop (in NYC) »

Somewhere between a TED talk, a preschool classroom, and group therapy, FEELINGS is Elodie Azoulay’s first *Work in Progress* solo clown show where they explore the mystifying territory of feelings. As they attempt to demonstrate their “expertise” on feelings like “happiness” “sadness” “anger” and “shame”, the lines between different feelings, between fact and fiction, start to blur. The coping mechanisms they demonstrate to the crowd start to fail and confuse. And we start to see what they are actually coping with. FEELINGS is intimate and gentle, but also dangerous and nutty, embodying the tension between play and analysis, profundity and profanity, sincerity and farce. Come help them figure their shit out!
