Whitley Watson is an underground comedy figure known for mutating traditional forms through a dark, experimental lens. Most known for the warehouse party/outsider film festival Club Video, she has also brought her expansive, multimedia approach to major festivals (Just For Laughs, Otis Mountain), immersive theater productions ( Sheep No More, Disassocial), network TV (Adult Swim) and is a regular fixture in the New York City comedy scene.
Her latest work, a debut solo show titled “Evil”, is a genre-bending stand up special incorporating sound design, outfit changes, and video segments into the absurdist social satire that she has been honing over the years. A full sensory experience.
