Couplet: Folk Marry Kill (in LA)

After last year’s Honey Honey Moon Moon (★★★★★ EdFestMag.com, Best Comedy/Variety Nominee, Transcendent and Splash Awards Winner) this hilarious musical duo returns with a hot new hour of consensual folking. Packed with original songs accompanied on their violin and guitar, this show will see Marnina and Micah doggy-paddling their way through a sea of relationship questions, like “what does ‘I love you’ really mean?” and “who’s gonna die first?” and “how do we make time to folk?” Catch them before they tour to The Huntington Theatre in Boston and Assembly Festival at Edinburgh Fringe!

Couplet has played local haunts (Dynasty Typewriter, The Elysian, The Crow, The Hudson Mainstage with the Joy Who Lived Festival, UCB) and toured to New York (SoHo Playhouse, Union Hall), Chicago (iO), and the UK (London, Birmingham, Edinburgh), and your algorithm might’ve brought you “People Think We’re Straight”, “People Think We’re Siblings”, “Jacquelyn Denfark, LMFT”, “Hot Hanukkah” or another one of their weekly comedy songs.

Written by and starring Marnina Schon and Micah O’Konis. Directed by Katie Lindsay.
