Country Girl Makes Do (in LA)
Come spend a day in the life with Ham— a country girl who tends farm, runs a livestock auction and is a star of the bar. In real life, people often ask me, “Sam, what is Mississippi like?” And this is a clown show about that. Kind of. It’s a “work hard, play hard” type situation, where a country girl makes do.
About Sam G: Sam G. is a clown, director and comic from Petal, Mississippi. She holds a BA in philosophy (real comedian degree) and is currently pursuing her masters in psychology. She has trained at UCB, Groundlings, and The Idiot Workshop. Sam has produced and directed comedy music videos, sold-out shows at The Elysian Theater, and the post-modern fashion-comedy “Menswear,” winner of the 2025 Hollywood Fringe Festival’s “Planner’s Pick.” After a couple years working on both bit- and personal-development, she is ready to share her thoughts in Country Girl Makes Do.
