Clown Church & Clown Show (in LA)-CANCELLED

February 5, 2024 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$10
  • « Eastville Comedy Club (in NYC)
  • Colorful Basics (in NYC) »

7-8pm Clown Church is an interactive experience that offers participants an opportunity to reimagine comedy through the art of presence. This experience is designed to help people descend into their bodies and into a more beautiful state of being. It is geared towards people who are looking to be more playful and alive. It evolved from improvisation as well as Taoist philosophy and is for anyone who wants to find that part of themselves that lives in wonder. No experience needed. All are welcome. Please come unprepared.

8-9pm Clown Show is a fusion of clown, long-form improv, and exposed theater. Actors descend into epic scenes and abstract pieces while live direction demands their best performances.
