Brian Smight: I Guess I’ll Do This (in LA)

December 7, 2024 @ 9:30 pm - 11:00 pm
$15
  • « (9PM-11PM Hourly) 10 Min. @ NoHo Fourth Wall (in LA)
  • The Tiny Cupboard (in NYC) »

Brian is a Southern California native who has finally found his home in LA’s comedy underbelly. But before that hard-won revelation (and throughout it), he has also been (at various points) — a construction worker, truck unloader, janitor at a fabric store, professional filmmaker, busboy, weed dealer, amateur screenwriter, construction worker (again), line cook, quasi-ironic rapper, traveling camera man, busboy (again), freelance video editor, deli clerk, bagel salesman, and even more things that would be too tedious to outline here.

In Brian’s first ever half-hour, he unpacks his long history of creative and vocational misfires, while sharing tales of his delinquent youth. This is a standup comedy show, but also a personal scrapbook of ambition, avoidance, irony, and purpose.
