Alise Morales: The Girl Who Lived (in NYC)

April 25, 2023 @ 9:45 pm - 10:30 pm
$27
  • « Dave Attell (near LA)
  • Mr. Horsepower (in LA) »

In the year 1999 comedian Alise Morales (Betches Sup, Maisel) received a piece of mail that changed her life forever: two Harry Potter books in the mail. From writing a 650,000 word fanfiction to touring the country as the host of the sorting ceremony at Pottercon, she happily dedicated her life to the fandom. Then in 2020, things got weird. In this dynamic storytelling show, Morales tells the story of how she went from adorable child fan to reluctant Harry Potter adult, and how to cope when your heroes turn out to be total assholes.
