The COVID-19 pandemic upended comedy with its arrival and its furthering duration has forced comedy folks to further adapt to a world that’s as unsure as it has ever been. Accomplished comedian and writer Matt Kirshen shares, with TCB’s Jake Kroeger, his journey in quarantine that has led him from his last big writing gig, The Jim Jefferies Show, and doing stand-up all over the world to only doing in-person gigs such as drive-in shows, or performing behind the glass barriers of the Original Room at The Comedy Store just a handful of times (all while keeping his science-ish podcast Probably Science going at a time where science is being constantly called into question). Also, they get into “hot” takes on Nate Bargatze doing the first late night set in all of quarantine and Coming 2 America foregoing a theatrical release for one on Amazon.
