The news sucks, but what if the people making it sucked even more? Bushwick News Network is a web series about a hoaky local news station. It began as a vertical webseries on instagram and tiktok. Our work is somewhere in between “The Office”, “Broad City” and “iCarly.”

We wanted to subvert the glossy mockumentary format by making something that was dirty; both in the quality/way it was shot and the language and the vibe. Not often do we see two young women cursing like truck drivers and we think it’s important that we show women using their voices in this way.
