Read to Filth is a monthly book club, hosted by Tom Pastor, looking to go beyond fun and make reading funny. Every month, a new group of your favorite comedians are asked to read a book and come prepared for anything our host will throw at them.

This month, be ready for monsters, myths and more as we have read the modern young adult classic: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. Most of us have found memories of the series that had tweens and teens in a chokehold in the mid 2000s, but does it hold up as an adult? There is only one way to find out.
