Dog People (in LA)

March 16 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
$17.85
  • « Petty Cash Studios (in LA)
  • Funny Games @ The Elysian (in LA) »

Michael Zimmer and Sofia Sullivan are Dog People. The show dives snout first into our complex relationship with dogs in an hour of sketches, characters, and videos. From pet psychics to vet logistics, new tricks, and old treats, Dog People explores the comedy of the day to day odd behaviors that come with being the best friends to man’s best friend, with all the absurdity, chaos, and love. Woof.

After a sold out run in Portland, OR, they’re excited to bring the show to Los Angeles, the city of little four legged angels!

The show partners with local dog rescues to raise funds towards their efforts, having already raised over $500 so far in their short run. A portion of all ticketing will go towards local rescues.

“One big inside joke for dog people. Smart and surprising.”
– Michelle Kicherer, Willamette Week

“Collaboration of two strong performers with different styles. Fun. Silly. Weird.”
– Sergio Cilli, writer/director “Will AI Replace Us”

“This show is f***ing fantastic, and anyone with any sense should go see it”
– Simon Max Hill, SMH Casting

Written and performed by Michael Zimmer and Sofia Sullivan
